So, you've made it to BuildBrighton's wiki, quite possibly through our mailing list, and perhaps you have noticed that something is not quite as it should be. You are right, BuildBrighton does not have a logo. We do not have a colour scheme and we do not have a 'theme'.

This makes us very sad.

There are reasons for this lack, largely due to the fact that the hackspace google group and wiki administrators have no talent whatsoever for graphics. We wish to remedy this tragic fact and so we ask you, beloved hackerspace members and Brighton based geek community and general technorati, to do what we cannot - provide us with a logo.

And to make it all that much more fun, we've decided to make it a competition, with a prize of 1 month's free membership (worth £20) for the winner.

So, whether you have are an artist in your spare time, a professional graphic designer or someone with a hitherto unexplored talent for making pretty things, submit your designs to emily AT emilytoop DOT com and we shall place them here for all to look at and comment/vote on.

The winner will be announced on 28th August (The decision will be made at the BuildBrighton hack night on 27th) so that we can implement the logo and design on the mailing list, wiki and maybe get some stickers and cards made up ready for dConstruct and Barcamp the following weekend.
