New Workshop Build

The new hackspace in Shed A at Rodhus Studios needs building. We opted for a blank-canvas space, so we could shape it as we see fit, and the landlord Richard is extremely happy with us to do an awful lot of this. It's an incredible opportunity.

Tasks that need to be done are:

• Clean & lay (or lay and clean) the floor tiles. (Laid by Jackie, Rev Neil & Dave Day)
• Install the ventillation for the laser cutter
• Fit the kitchen worksurface and sink
• Fit the sink in the loo
• Run pipework for plumbing
• Install the gas space heater
• Acquire exterior firedoors and fit frame.
• Acquire front double doors and fit frame.
• Install shelves to get the 'clean workshop' area organised into a useable space
• Set up the open plan area to be comfortable and pleasantly lit.
• Acquire more desks.
• Build the work surfaces and fit shelving into the 'dirty workshop' area.
• Fit and wire up intercom. (Being done by Rev Neil but could use some help).
• Fit second router in open area. (Being done by Rev Neil but could use some help).

Add to the list above with anything else that needs to be done, delete anything that is complete.
