• Native USB class-compliant MIDI
  • Use arduino uno?
    • Reprogramming UART to MIDI is pretty simple.
  • Use a meatier ATMEGA's that has built in USB
    • Precludes the next point…
• Design as Arduino Shield
• Smaller footprint & case
  • Use bendy laser ply hinge type design (see this instructable for example)
  • Can use same concept for the buttons (see DIY cellphone)
• DIY ultrasound sensors?
  • All designs seen so far only go down to 30cm, not short enough
  • Need to get quote for URM37's in bulk.
